This is number 4 in this series designed as accessible music for 2-3 octave choirs and appealing to a wide age range. It contains 2 spirituals: "Lord I Want to Be a Christian" and "Go Down Moses." It follows the same pattern as the others in the Alpha Series; the pieces have some techniques, such as swings and shakes, a little syncopation and a few eighth notes and few, if any, page turns. These pieces could be played on chime or bells. |
